5 Reasons Why You Should Be A VOASA Member
Demonstrates commitment to industry excellence
Membership is an investment in the future of timeshare, which is a direct investment in the prosperity of your own business. With legislative reform on the horizon, there has never been a better time to install confidence in consumers through a trade association membership and adherence to its Code of Conduct. Your membership tells consumers that you are engaged, taking initiative and staying current with changes in the South African timeshare industry.
Lobbying on your behalf
Membership gives you a direct link to get your viewpoints raised on legislative issues. As the recognised industry voice, VOASA communicates the views, interests and value of its members to government and regulatory stakeholders as well as other industry associations, such as the Tourism Business Council of SA.
Independent timeshare complaint service
The Independent Timeshare Complaint Service (ITCS) was established as an alternative timeshare dispute resolution agent between VOASA members and consumers. Through this service, the ITCS endeavours to facilitate a fair resolution within the ambit of the Code of Conduct. Efficient handling of complaints demonstrates to government authorities and regulatory bodies that VOASA and its members can manage and deliver a mature industry that installs confidence with all stakeholders.
Industry Promotion & PR
Members benefit from additional exposure and promotion through VOASA’s marketing and social media campaigns. All sales leads from the marketing campaigns are forwarded to members. The PR ‘media watchdog’ service promotes accurate timeshare reporting by engaging with media where necessary to rectify factually incorrect reporting on the industry and its members.
Industry insight
As the voice for timeshare in South Africa, VOASA produces an industry magazine to promote the latest developments in timeshare. Members receive an additional Members Only newsletter on all member related matters and benefits. All VOASA webinars are free-of-charge to members and the website Member Portal provides immediate online access to a valuable timeshare information hub.
